About Me

Let’s get right into it.. You might wonder why the picture in an about “me” section contains most of my family.. well for starters, I don’t take many photos, and second, I thought it was fitting. My family and I have not had an easy relationship, and yet, after giving my life to Jesus, he restored those relationships and well, now my family is an incredibly large part of my life. This photo, being here, serves as a reminder that God can truly restore and heal everything.

Now, why did I feel called to start a clothing brand based on praising Jesus? Aren’t there so many out there already? Yes, there are, however, this still weighed heavy on my heart and I have not been able to let go of this vision. *insert reminder for myself* God can still call us to do something it seems everyone else is doing and it can still be different, simply because we are unique. He chooses us all for different reasons, and most times for reasons we cannot seem to understand.

I always had a hard time being bold in my faith. I seemed held back by the lies of the enemy that I didn’t want to be a “cringey Christian” or the reason someone else thought this was all fake, so I was more quiet.. but I knew God called all of us to be bold and stand firm in our Faith and love for Him. I mean, after all, Christ had GIVEN HIS LIFE for us, the least we could do was commit to praising Him for the rest of ours, right?

So I made some designs and started this website, with the goal to be more bold in my faith, to reach people with just the clothing I wore. And one day, I saw a glimpse of the impact something like this can have. *short version of the story* I went to the hospital and decided to wear one of my designs (The psst.. Jesus loves you hoodie) and a bag I had painted that said, “No Worries, God got me.” The conversations it started, were honestly incredible and I was truly inspired to push this project. And I don’t just want to stop at impacting with clothing.. If you’d like to stay connected and see what we’re doing, follow our Instagram (@savedapparel.ca). I am truly excited for what God will do with this.
